February is American Heart Month

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Every year, 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease. However,  heart disease can often be prevented when people make healthy choices and manage their health conditions.

To observe American Heart Month, feel free to use this signature badge to spread the word about strategies for preventing heart disease, and encourage people to live heart healthy lives.

Another strategy? Encourage your colleagues to join us on a 30-minute Wednesday Walk! We meet every Wednesday at 12:30 sharp at the lobby video wall.

In addition, check out our 21-Day Walk ‘n Roll Challenge Resource Document for ideas on how you can promote the Surgeon General’s Call to Action on Walking and Walkability.
